Born in Detroit in 1908, General Motors Company would bring together the huge brands of several car companies including Cadillac, Chevrolet, Pontiac, and Buick.
Surviving strikes, the brink of collapse, bankruptcy, bailouts, and rapid advancements in technology, GM has seen it all in the auto industry.
It wasn’t until 2011 that General Motors reported its first profit since 2004. Since then they have focused on rebranding and rebuilding.
They have stood strong throughout the decades to innovate and grow auto manufacturing. General Motors isn’t going to go anywhere – except back out onto the road.
