Upgrading from OEM to Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra®
Around the beginning of the year, Linda, a regular customer of ours from the Oak Park area, came to us looking for tires for her 2014 Honda CRV. She wanted to upgrade from the OEM tires that came stock on her vehicle, and after some shopping around and comparing features, she settled on the Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra, an all-season tire that fit her budget and needs.
We recently reached out to Linda for a follow up, and to ask her for a review on her new tires. Here’s what she had to say about her new Bridgestone® Alenza AS Ultras:
“It’s been several months and a few thousand miles with Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra tires on my Honda CRV, and I’m just as satisfied today as I was the first week with them. Living in the midwest, I wanted a reliable all-season tire that would hold up long drives in the spring and summer, and still provide good grip in the rain and snow. The Alenza AS Ultras are definitely doing the job!
I did some shopping around (thanks for the help, Milito’s), and the relatively affordable price, combined with the solid warranty, drew me to these tires – and now I’m glad I chose them! The warranty alone – 5 years/80,000 miles, with free replacement within 3 years – really helped me choose these tires confidently.”
My new Bridgestone tires are quiet, look good, and provide some excellent traction in most of the weather I encounter around Chicago.
“On wet and dry roads alike, they feel solid and reliable, like my vehicle is planted on the pavement. It was snowy when I first got them, and they’re a little bit sluggish when the roads aren’t plowed (especially in heavy, wet snow).
Overall, I’m quite pleased with these tires in terms of performance, and I’m happy with how they look too! Some of the other options in this size (225/65R17) just looked too plain to me, and even though they’re not that different, there’s something stylish and sleek about these!
As a bonus, I noticed a pretty big reduction in tire noise too!
They’re quiet, look good, and provide some excellent traction in most of the weather I encounter around Chicago. I would definitely recommend these to anyone driving a small SUV like me, and I’d buy them again in a heartbeat!”
